Fuel GX345 new carb and fuel comes out of overflow tube after shutdown

Replaced carb last year and now this fuel overflow, I have no idea what is going on. Another thing is the engine wants to stall and cut off going up a small incline. I am pulling my hair out now. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Ben
