Hi all,
Still working on the "93. It looks great with new paint, but I have a problem with the governor set-up:rolleyes:
Put governor spring, retaining collar, air vane etc. back together according to service manual. Got the governor spring hooked in the end of the throttle lever, but can't get motor past 2500 rpm or so, on fast. I turned collar to the right more than a few clicks, moved the throttle lever, and the governor spring had come out of the end of the throttle lever.
I must be doing something wrong, but I have no idea what it is. Carb is squeaky clean, removed welch plugs, and cleaned passages, plugs back in and sealed tight.
I'm thinking but no ideas coming to mind.
I've done lots of weed eaters, mowers, etc, but this just has me flummoxed.
All ideas welcome. A clear picture or diagram would help a lot.
Thanks,
Jim
