axle bushing available? for 42in, 20 horse husky

I an trying to replace a worn axle bushing on a 42 in , 20 horse husky and the only part available is the entire axle, about 100$,

Machine in question is model LOYTH20F42T Product #960450002. Does anyone know of a bushing that will work or can be honed or mechined to fit withou buying the whole axle.Why buy a whole axle for a 3$ bushing?
