Side bag vs rear bag

I just got a Lawn Boy 10247 and I don't have a bag for it. I was wondering if you guys prefer the side bag or rear bag, and what are the pros and cons of each. I'm new to lawn boy, and this is my only mower right now, so let me know what you think. And I'm sorry if this is a stupid question, this is my first post on the forum.
