Leaf blower

Hi, I have a Craftsman leaf blower to repair for a friend ... the engine is a 25.c.c unit, 250mph blower. I am not getting a spark at the plug ...I tried another plug...still no spark. Does anyone have any idea where I might begin looking.I do not have a repair manual for the machine, don't know exactly how old it is either .... 4/5 years perhaps.
