I broke the teeth off of my fly wheel fan due to not replacing the engine cover properly after cleaning out a mouse nest. I bought a replacement fan and now I'm having trouble getting the old fan off. I've "u tubed" it and they say to use a pipe wrench to secure the drive pulley in order to remove the bolt holding the fan in place. Problem being, there isn't enough spacing to get a wrench in to secure the pulley (or shaft driving pulley). I don't want to damage anything further by jamming something in to keep the fly wheel from turning so the bolt will come out. I'm not sure where to go from here.
