grasshopper 928d2 72 inch deck how to replace electric pto clutch

i have the pto clutch off but need to know how to put the new one on.

do i need to take the clutch stub shaft off and then put the new clutch

on it and then place on the flywheel or do i have to raise the engine up

to get enough clearance?
