Trottle position on John Deere D140 for choke poisition

New D140, used it once last Fall. Very hard to start. Thought it was because I had not learned the quirks of my mower. First time this Spring, same thing. The manual does not indicate the throttle position for choke. I assume it is all the way forward.

It states, put throttle lever in choke position.
