I am operating a Dixie Chopper Silver Eagle 44 inch cut as a close-quarters mower. When changing belts, removing and replacing the belt tensioning pulleys from and back onto the belts can be somewhat of a pain. I was wondering if anyone could offer any tips or suggestions for a shop-made tool for the removal and re-installation of the tension idler pulley arms.
The engine to pump(s) belt gives me the most trouble. Any tips or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
