Pressure washer quick connections

Are quick connections safe to use on gas pressure washers? I've never owned a gas pressure washer until now, and need to get a replacement hose for it. I was thinking about getting this one

I'm just skeptical because of the pressure that will be applied. I know that air compressors have these, but I just wanted feed back to be sure.
