I stored my Cub Cadet LTX 1045 over the winter and moved it into the garage last fall manually ( meaning I pulled out the hydrostatic bypass rod so I could free wheel the rider ).
I just went to start it up to move it today and engaged the hydro bypass rod and the tractor would not move.........I pulled the bypass rod in and out a few times and the wheels remain locked when the bypass rod is in the engaged or disengaged position.
When I step on the hydro pedal to go forward there is a squealing sound like the belts are trying to move but it just isn't happening.
Not sure what might be wrong.
