If you have a Kawasaki 25 HP that the air cleaner looks like this,
You need to read <THIS LINK> They designed the cover to clear the air cleaner with 1/2" clearance, then put on a foam pre-filter that's 1/2" thick, cutting off the air on half of the filter. To get full use of the air cleaner, you need to leave off the pre-filter or do what I did.
